DC comics has announced the release of Batman: The Jiro Kuwata Batmanga as a Digital First series beginning this Saturday, July 5. This will be the first time Kuwata’s collection is translated and uncut for all of us Batfans to purchase as a complete collection outside of Japan. In keeping true to the original work, pages will be represented in the traditional Japanese right-to-left reading order, and will vary in length from 15-32 pages for $.99 each. If you are a Batman, Inc. fan, you may recognize the villain from the first chapter.
It is Digital First, but later this year all 1,000+ pages will be printed and released in three paperback collected editions.
