Jonathan Nolan Speaks On Number of Villains In Film

Co-writer on The Dark Knight Rises Jonathan Nolan has a different opinion on the “too many villains syndrom” some movies tend to have, “I don’t believe in any of that s**t!,” and it is as simple as that speaking in a interview with Sci-Fi Magazine.  He believes that it is simply nothing more than a cheap excuse for people to throw at a movie for being “bad” as in Spider-Man 3 or The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  He states, “It is just a question of whether you can pull it off. That’s what it comes down to. I think a narrative is only as cluttered as you let it be.”

Spoken like a true writer!  As a screenwriter myself, I agree with everything Jonathan has to say about the subject.  Stories are just like babies, if you take your time and raise it well then it should most likely turn out a good.  But if you just half ass things and don’t put your all, then disastrous things can happen.  What do you guys think about this?  Sound off in the comments section below and for the full article you can pick up this months copy of the magazine.
