Its no secret that DC and Warner Bros. aren’t rushing The Batman movie. The constantly changing release date has indicated this and the reason is that they want to get this movie right. They haven’t rushed Matt Reeves and are allowing him to have to time to work on the best script possible.
Latest reports have shown that the latest draft of the script has added more ‘Spectacle.’ With Reeves aiming to make more of a detective film, its evident that the first draft was lacking some explosiveness. The volume of action has been described as being a cross between films Seven and The Dark Knight.
With fans never really seeing a more crime-solving focused Batman before now, the new script may finally give us the World’s Greatest Detective. I for one would love to see a more well rounded Dark Knight.
