The new, and likely final, Justice League trailer debuted at New York Comic Con today and it was packed with a ton of great, new footage. Watch the trailer below:

We finally get our first look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent in Justice League. It looks like Lois Lane, played by Amy Adams, is dreaming about his marriage proposal to her. While finally seeing Superman footage is a good sign, and just makes the excitement for Justice League go up a few notches, it’s the footage of the battle that’s really interesting. During the battle, which is said to be the flashback sequence with the Amazons, the Atlanteans, and mankind versus their enemies from Apokolips that opens the film, we see a human man transforming into a Parademon.

THE TEAM

Each member of the Justice League gets their time to shine in the trailer too. Commissioner Gordon (J.K. Simmons) flips on the Bat-signal (which is referenced later in the trailer in a pretty fun scene with Barry Allen (Ezra MIller), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Aquaman (Jason Momoa) in his underwater domain, Wonder Woman on top of a statue in London, Cyborg (Ray Fisher) doing some awesome tech stuff, and The Flash suited up and smiling.

There’s plenty of action, but with a mix of witty banter throughout. There are a few things that feel very Joss Whedon, but overall it’s still hard to determine what comes from original director Zack Snyder and from the reshoots with Whedon. Unlike the trailer for Batman v. Superman, this trailer does everything it needs to guarantee a ticket sale from me. DC/Warner Bros. may be behind in the game of comic book universes, but it appears they have finally found their footing. Justice League is taking a page out of The CW Berlantiverse by mixing the perfect amount of heart, humor, and heroics into the film, which is no easy task when you’re doing a team-up movie.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17th, 2017.
