This is not a post about why Batman & Robin deserves to get the famous Honest Trailer treatment because it is an incredibly terrible movie. If some of you remember, I have very fond memories of this movie. This is a post about why we should be thankful for it and why it is such an immensely fantastic film!
- Its basically a live action cartoon!
– Being a product of the 90’s you have to recognize its awesomeness. Look through this movie with the eyes of a kid. Think of all those campy things you used to watch. See it on that level. Obviously these things make some type of money, so that’s why Hollywood puts them out. Come on, every once in a while, you watch that one movie that you hate so much for being so bad but watch anyway, because you secretly love it. Its okay, you don’t have to admit it, I know.
- PUNS!
– In a age of the meme, these types of movies give the Internet loads of them to make. Why else do people quote the movie, or use animated gifs and YouTube clips to comment on websites and screen caps for profile pictures?
- Because without it, we would have The Dark Knight Trilogy.
– Nuff said.
But hey, I know that 99% will disagree with me but that is okay. I still love this movie for what it is. Batman thick and thin.
