TDKR PASSES THE IMAX MARK

IMAX Corporation  and Warner Bros. Pictures  announced that The Dark Knight Rises has passed the $100 million global box office mark in 557 IMAX theatres worldwide after its 7th week of release. Since September 3rd, the movie has reached a total of $65.1 million from 332 IMAX theaters  domestically and $37.3 million from 225 IMAX  theaters internationally.  With help from China’s box office, which started showing on August 27th. The Dark Knight Rises is the second IMAX  movie to hit this milestone, after Avatar.

The Dark Knight Rises continues to be showed at IMAX theaters worldwide.
