Thought Bubble 2022 Will Wipe Away the Winter Blues

Thought Bubble 2022 is almost upon us! Dark Knight News will be represented, alongside our sister sites DC Comics News, and Fantastic Universes.

The UK’s best all comics convention has been around for decades now, and the list of guests is becoming ever more impressive. I’ve already pulled a bunch of books out of long boxes to get signed. I mean, look at this list of word-class talent!

  • Scott Snyder
  • Gail Simone
  • James Tynion IV
  • Ram V
  • Dan Watters
  • Jock
  • Christian Ward
  • Cecil Castellucci
  • Sean Phillips
  • Richard Starkings
  • Martin Simmonds
  • Si Spurrier
  • G. Willow Wilson

and many, many more will be in attendance.

Here’s a full description of this wonderful event.

Thought Bubble is the Yorkshire Comic Art Festival! A week-long celebration of comics, illustration and more spread across the whole of Yorkshire. The week closes with a huge two-day comic convention in Harrogate.

We use our festival week to promote the power of comics as we believe that they can inspire, educate and bring people together like no other medium. So, whether you’re a long-time fan of comic art or have never picked up a graphic novel before, you’ll find something for you.

Thought Bubble is a non-profit organization with our chosen charity being Barnardo’s!

Will you be going to Thought Bubble 2022? All kinds of comics can be found there, not just superheroes! Fans of horror, sci-fi, Manga and more will all find something they’ll love. Anyone who wants to start reading comics would be hard-pressed to find anywhere better to pick up gens and start their collections.

Aidan Parr, owner of Chaotic Comics & Crafts had this to say about last year’s show:

I got a chance to go to Thought Bubble 2021 in Harrogate for the first day. What a revelation! Three large halls were full of comics written for every genre you could think of and for every group within society you could imagine too. The quality of the comics was high, with fantastic production values, and all created by people like you and me, who love comics and want to tell a story of their own.

Need I say more? It’s going to be an amazing weekend. Hopefully we’ll see you there!
