Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One will be available for purchase on June 22, that’s just two days away, guys! DC is really pushing what looks to be an epic adaptation. So many clips have been released over the last few days, that’s it’s almost dizzying. This week alone, we got two new ones; the first features Bats and Calendar Man, while the other shows off an intimidating exchange between the Joker and Harvey Dent.
The first comes courtesy of CinemaBlend. It’s a very short snippet featuring Jensen Ackles’ Bats briefly conversing with the imprisoned Calendar Man. It gives us a pretty good taste of David Dastmalchian’s take on Julian Day and it’s chilling. It’s hard to beat Maurice LeMarche’s version from Batman: Arkham City, but Dastmalchian does a pretty darn good job. It’s exactly the way you’d expect Calendar Man to sound. He’s cold, calculating, and a touch playful because nothing really matters at the moment to him. Plus, he’s clearly taking some sort of sick pleasure in teasing Bats.

Lastly, Warner Bros. and DC are celebrating Christmas in June with this clip of the Joker and Harvey Dent from Comicbook.com. Sorry, guys. I’m a Mark Hamill fanboy, so I’m going to be ultra-critical of Troy Baker’s Hamill impersonation. Overall, I can say it’s not bad. It has tinges of Hamill’s legendary Joker, but Baker has evolved and made it more so his own. That’s commendable. Either way, the Clown Prince of Crime is pretty darn intimidating in this clip. However, I’m very irked at the idea of the Joker saying “spoiler alert.” Josh Duhamel does a pretty serviceable job as Dent in this clip, but we all know that this was Joker’s scene.
