Margot Robbie currently resides in the hearts of many DC fans after her miraculous turn as Harley Quinn in this summer’s Suicide Squad. When one attempted to wade through the muck of bad reviews, the one shining beacon was Robbie, as her performance stood out as one of the best parts of the film.

She was so good that the lovable psychopath will be appearing in a spinoff.

In fact, she’s even better than you think. Robbie is also looking to develop and produce her own feature films under her company, LuckyChap Entertainment. And Warner Bros. loves her as much as we do.

Hollywood Reporter is announcing that the young Aussie actress has just signed a first-look deal with WB, which gives the major studio first dibs on any project in which she may have her hands. Surprisingly, she already has a pretty long slate of flicks.

Along with her LuckyChap partners, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr, she is finishing up a thriller entitled Terminal, a biopic on former figure skater Tonya Harding, and an adaptation of the novel Bad Monkeys.

Currently, she is working on two flicks at WB. The aforementioned spinoff that she will executive produce and an adaptation of the book Queen of the Air, about the true story of circus performer Leitzel.

Robbie is a very impressive young woman. Though I can’t vouch for her producing and judgment, I know she’s a smart and ambitious cookie. And how can you not love Margot Robbie? She’s essentially perfect.

What do you think? Curious about her upcoming flicks where she works behind the camera?
