Press Release:

FANS MEET SOME OF DC’S BEST ARTISTS AT WONDERCON!

Want to know what it takes to be an artist for DC? Fans at WonderCon 2016 just got that exclusive, as the panel for ART MASTERS: DRAWING DC just concluded!

The panel, moderated by DC’s VP of Editorial Administration & Talent Relations Larry Ganem, gave fans and aspiring artists a chance to hear from some of DC’s best! The panel included the incredibly talented Bernard Chang (Batman Beyond), Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn), Ming Doyle (Constantine: The Hellblazer) and John Romita Jr (Superman).

The ballroom got a chance to hear from each artist on their visual approach, influence, and their stories that led to them working with DC on a variety of incredible titles. Fans learned first-hand how some of their favorite DC books came to life!

And because DC fans have been so excited for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (out now!) panelists wanted to give them a little piece of the action—by drawing the famous Caped Crusader and Man of Steel live during the panel! At the end of the hour, these original works of art went home with a few lucky audience members.

If you weren’t able to make the panel, you can always check out Batman BeyondHarley QuinnConstantine: The HellblazerSuperman and even more titles from these incredible artists! Feel free to also search the DC blog at DCComics.com!
