The synopsis for the fifteenth episode of Gotham, “The Scarecrow,” is here. It picks up on threads introduced in the episode that will precede it, “The Fearsome Dr Crane” (airing February 2). Be sure to tune in February 9 as another part of the Batman mythos is reimagined. Keep in mind that this is Jonathan Crane’s father, Gerald. I wouldn’t doubt if we see a young Jonathan and learn how his father wasn’t the best influence on him. It wouldn’t surprise me if they drew some inspiration from Batman: The Dark Knight Vol. 2: Cycle of Violence.
