Well, well, well…if some of you were skeptical about The Dark Knight Rises receiving any Oscar nominations? You were right to be skeptical. There were some high hopes for the movie to receive an nomination for something, well anything would have been great at this point. However, not even Hans Zimmer’s score was picked for an nomination. It’s sad news to hear and see for Batman fans when The Avengers were picked for an nomination for Best Visual Effects. It’s just another blow right now. Still, it doesn’t matter. We can still keep our heads high because with one character Warner Bros. made beyond 1 billion dollars. Unlike the other Marvel characters who had to band together to make this amount. We’ll see how well Iron Man 3 makes this year as a stand alone character this time around.
