Despite what was seen on screen this August in Suicide Squad, the cast and crew have continually praised Jared Leto’s Joker time and time again. It was revealed not too long after the release of the film that Leto had actually filmed a lot more footage that didn’t make it to the theatrical cut of the movie.
Likely due to that, WB announced that they would be releasing a extended cut of Suicide Squad, hopefully featuring the Joker that the cast and crew have extolled since filming began. In the meantime, on-set still photographer, Clay Enos, released a new behind-the-scenes photo of Leto on the sound stage for the Joker rescue scene in the city; The scene where the Joker flies in on a hijacked aircraft to save Harley off the rooftop of a skyscraper.
In the photo, Leto, in full Joker regalia, climbs up the wall of the aircraft, completely in character. Enos released the photo to demonstrate his commitment to the role.

The man is nearly upside down for this shot. It’s between takes, so he’s not even being filmed. He’s just doing it for who know whys.
The extended cut of Suicide Squad will hit digital shelves on November 15th, while the physical copy is out on December 13th.
