Titans #23 tries to make us trust someone… Should we? Do we? Why would we? Let’s Boom in…

Fool Me Once

The Titans have had a bunch of betrayals recently. Some direct, some indirect, some by design and some out of their control. So when a former foe has been brought on to the team and is helping out with extreme power. It’s no wonder that the team is cautious. Vanadia is a super enhanced, android, cyborg… thing. Who was originally programmed to destroy the Titans. Now has been destroyed, rebuilt and given a few enhancements by Cyborg as a Titan in training. Was this a part of Deathstroke’s plans all along? Only time will tell…

Fool Me Twice

The art was stunning this issue, and the writing was very well structured. I’m really enjoying this build up, my only issue currently is I want the Titans to be done with Deathstroke. He’s been the sole annoyance and pain in their collective butts since what? 1984? I think now that he has fought the Justice League, led the suicide squad, led his own team of heroes. Isn’t it time for them to get/use some new villains. As far as I’m concerned this should be the last hurrah of Slade Wilson vs The Titans. What do you think loyal readers?

Conclusion

Titans #23 is a really well drawn and well written issue that is fun and leads to the next step in the sinister plans of many. Don’t miss it.
