McFarlane Toys Unveils Next Wave of ‘BTAS’ Toys

McFarlane Toys has just released a new wave of figures based on the New Batman Adventures designs, including the Demon Etrigan and Mr. Freeze.

Mr. Freeze

Mr. Freeze features his New Adventures redesign. Gone is are his googles and the grey, blue, and purple color scheme. Now he has a sleek black and blue look.

The Freeze figure comes with 4x extra hands, his freeze ray, mechanical spider legs, a removable helmet, a figure display base, a reproduction animation cel, model sheet, and art frame. Heck, yeah. You heard it. Freeze can be featured in his normal body or as a creepy head on spider legs, highlighting the twist in the animated series where Freeze’s body decayed away, leaving only his head.

Etrigan

The Demon Etrigan is a surprise addition to the wave. He only appeared in one episode of New Adventures, although he has also made appearances in the subsequent Justice League series. Etrigan is a beefy figure. He also comes with 4x extra hands, a freeze ray, mechanical spider legs, a removable helmet, as well as the figure display base, a reproduction animation cel, model sheet, and art frame.

Silver Batman

Finally, we have another figure of the Dark Knight himself. Honestly, this Batman figure here is just a repaint of the previous Batman figures. McFarlane Toys repainted Batman to be silver and a shiny blue on the inside of his cape. It’s not bad, but one wishes for a different character that hasn’t been made a figure yet, like say the animated series of Cat-Man? I don’t think there is a figure representing his character yet.

Batman comes with 7x extra hands, a batarang, a grapelling launcher. He also comes with the customary  figure display base, a reproduction animation cel, model sheet, and art frame.

Retailers priced the figures at $27.99 USD each. You can pre-order the figures right here. They will be available in June 2025.
