Kami Garcia Reveals New DC Comics Projects

The wonderful Kami Garcia has revealed two of her upcoming DC Comics Projects, along with cover art and story teasers. Of course, one of them will be the latest chapter in her ongoing Teen Titans series, with artist, Gabriel Picolo.

Raven, Beast Boy, and Beast Boy Loves Raven are all firm favorites, here at Dark Knight News, and at our sister sites, DC Comics News and Fantastic Universes, so the announcement of Teen Titans: Robin has us all extremely excited.

Here’s the official announcement, from Kami’s fan newsletter:

Teen Titans: Robin

My Teen Titans series with Gabriel Picolo continues in Spring 2023 with ROBIN, featuring two Robins — Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. We’re so excited about this book, because the Titans are beginning to feel like a real team!

Kami has also announced a new YA graphic novel starring frequent Batman collaborator, and Justice League Dark member, John Constantine, featuring art by Isaac Goodheart (Catwoman: Under The Moon).

Constantine: Distorted Illusions

Constantine is not your average bad boy…

John Constantine is, and has always been, a magician of the highest caliber—who doesn’t need additional training from any highbrow magician, thank you very much.

Sensing an opportunity for independence, Constantine falsely accepts an apprenticeship in the United States to instead become the lead singer of his best friend’s punk band, Mucous Membrane.

When the band begins to dabble in magic, a complicated spell gets out of hand… and the disastrous consequences might be more than Constantine can handle.

DC Comics YA graphic novels have always been hugely entertaining, and frequently outstanding. With Kami Garcia as writer, with books featuring art by Gabriel Picolo and Isaac Goodheart, it would be extremely surprising if Teen Titans: Robin, and Constantine: Distorted Illusions didn’t follow the trend.

These two releases will definitely be going on my pull-list, what about all of you? Please let us know.
