Robert Pattinson Isn’t Going Anywhere

According to recently released statements, Robert Pattinson has signed a major deal with Warner Bros.

Pattinson is most recognized for his work in other franchises (Harry Potter, Twilight), but the veteran actor has been making incredible moves as he enters the DC realm.

Pattinson’s involvement with Warner Bros. stems from him playing the newest version of Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Matt Reeves film, The Batman. Because this version of the Dark Knight isn’t part of the DCEU or previous Batman installments, it has the possibility of becoming involved with other DC franchises.

The deal reached by Pattinson also implies these possibilities, as the actor has signed on with every division of the Warner Bros. company. This includes Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Television, and HBO Max.

Little is known about this newest reboot of Batman. However, both Pattinson and Warner Bros. released statements sharing their excitement about Bruce Wayne’s future.

Warner Bros Pictures and HBO have always been synonymous with groundbreaking filmmaking. I’m thrilled to be working with them to discover the most exciting new voices in film and television and help bring their visions to life.  I’ve loved working with the studio over the years and have so much respect for their dedication, their willingness to take chances and their desire to push the envelope creatively.

Warner Bros.:

We have been incredibly impressed with Rob’s eye for identifying dynamic new filmmakers. Additionally, he is continually nurturing exciting story ideas into compelling screenplays. We are so excited that Warner Bros. and New Line will be his home and that we get to benefit from his creative, commercial passions.

These positive statements by both actor and studio seem to offer many future possibilities for Pattinson’s Batman. We have hope for the character’s potential beyond the film’s release next year.
