Just over two weeks from now Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will hit theatres. While most of the marketing has been fairly traditional, Warner Bros. UK’s publicity team has really stepped it up a notch by setting up an incredibly fun idea, giving the fans the opportunity to hang out and have a good time. You know that Harley Quinn likes roller disco, right? Harley’s interest in skating has long been established in the comics and has been spotted in marketing footage for Birds of Prey. Well, WB UK wants fans to share in Harley’s pastime by setting up a pop-up roller disco. Cool, huh?
A few days ago, a video of Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), and Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary) was posted to Twitter announcing a pop-up roller disco. Check out the video below:
Ready to get your skates on? Enter the world of the #BirdsofPrey, when Harley Quinn’s Pop-Up Roller-Disco opens Tuesday 28th Jan at The Steel Yard, London. For three days only, you and your gang can skate to a soundtrack inspired by Gotham’s most dangerous dames. pic.twitter.com/JE2ql8widF

A Day-Glo Party Awaits
Starting on January 28th and ending on January 30th, WB UK will be transforming the Steel Yard in London into a portal to the Birds of Prey world of pop-art. And as I mentioned before, it will have a roller disco, where fans can skate amidst neon lights to a soundtrack inspired by the movie.

If you’re across the pond, it seems like a great place to hang out with friends and loved ones. Talk about a good date night for the DC fan in your life.
