‘The Batman’ Fan Art Shows Robbie Amell as Younger Batman

After all of the recent news about Matt Reeves’ The Batman film, it should come as no surprise that the internet is in a frenzy of fan theories and fan art. With Affleck officially out, and news that the film will feature a younger Bruce Wayne/Batman, the latest question on everyone’s mind is: who?

Well, Australian digital artist Bosslogic (who you have definitely seen the work of before) has provided us with some fan art of Robbie Amell in the Batsuit. Check it out below!

For those who keep up with the DC TV shows over on the CW, you will know Amell as Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm on The Flash. Also, and definitely why you recognise that surname, his cousin Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on Arrow. Funnily enough, despite being associated with the DC Universe in a number of ways already, Amell has actually expressed interest in playing Batman before.

In 2015, the actor stated he would love to play Terry McGinnis in a Batman Beyond movie, stating:

I am a huge fan of that idea. I think the problem is because they have Batman going on right now, they won’t make the Batman Beyond movie until I’m too old to be Terry McGinnis. By then I’ll probably be the old, crusty Batman. But I’m a huge fan of that idea. I think it would be a great property.

This is extremely interesting now four years later because it’s rumored that an animated Batman Beyond movie is in the works. Who knows? Maybe Amell will voice Terry in that, if all the planets align?

We want to hear from you! Do you like the idea of Amell playing a younger Batman in Reeves’ film? Or do you have someone else in mind? Sound off below and let us know here and on all of our social media!
