When asked about the casting information for Nightwing, Chris McKay tries to settle rumors that the young actor from Stranger Things, Dacre Montgomery, might play the part. This is a fan-cast at most, but the director states he will cast “a wide net” to select the actor for this iconic role.
McKay writes:
No one has been cast yet. We are taking our time. We are going to cast a wide net…because we need to find the perfect person. We need to get the script right. We need this to movie to blow your mind.
Brilliant. The love and passion we get from these directors, Patty Jenkins and Zack Snyder including, have been a big drive behind the art of these movies. The roster of directors is overwhelmingly energetic and passionate. It’s what the DCEU needs and deserves.
