Holy special content, Batman! We’ve been sent a few really neat clips for Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders!

Currently available on Digital HD, the Blu-ray will be out this Tuesday, November 1st. In anticipation of the physical media, we were sent some pretty cool excerpts from a longer interview with Burt Ward that will likely be featured on the Blu-ray. The interview comes right after Burt Ward’s first recording session for the movie.

Though I was never a huge fan of 1966 Batman series (I know! Blasphemy, right), the unanimous glow surrounding this film has really gotten my attention. I’ve actually read a review claiming that it was the best animated Batman movie yet!

If that hasn’t convinced you, check out what the Boy Wonder had to say about it.

Hmm, it seems like there’s a lot more mature and nuanced writing that went into this movie.

Current? I really hope we don’t have any shoehorned pop culture references.

Although I really like his answer, he’s grasping onto his wholesome version of the character. Robin isn’t quite the way he described. Not to me anyway, but I suppose that’s the magic of the character.

Check out some stills of the Boy Wonder as well. (Not Burt Ward, the actual animated Robin!)

If Burt Ward can’t convince, then… only Adam West can. I think I may be picking this up on Tuesday.
