This past week, Batman v Superman passed the $850 million box office mark.
Now in its fifth weekend, the film is placed sixth in the box office ranking, adding $5.5 million to its $319.5 million domestic total. This week saw a 38% dip in attendance for the film. This is the smallest audience dip yet, compared to other weeks’ 60+% decrease. Meanwhile, the movie took in $8.3 million this weekend in 66 foreign markets. This brings the international total to $532.1 million, making the worldwide total $851.6 million.
While the pace is decent for Batman v Superman, it will soon have to fight for the superhero market share when Captain America: Civil War comes out next week in many foreign markets. Check back next week to see how this will affect Batman v Superman’s weekend take.
