It’s interesting that I would come across this piece of merchandise news when my wealthy friend suddenly becomes obsessed with Chess. I may have to try to convince him to grab this. Regardless, Batfans and Chess fans everywhere can rejoice because we’ve got ourselves a beautiful Batman chess set. According DC Collectors, the manufacturer of the set, Eaglemoss, had been releasing each piece individually for years and only with purchase of a magazine, but have finally decided to release the entire set.
Entertainment Earth is currently taking pre-orders for an August release. The set will run you $474.99. A hefty price, but well worth it, if you like chess.

I’m not a very avid Chess player, nor am I any good. Therefore, I don’t find myself grabbing this, but I would certainly love to play it and just marvel at it.
