You may be aware of the fact that Playstation 4 users will have access to exclusive DLC in the forms of Scarecrow Nightmare Missions and some nifty skins for both Batman and the Batmobile. Indeed, Sony has more specifically revealed the nature of that exclusive DLC. The Scarecrow Nightmare Missions will allow Batman (or, rather, you) to pit himself against a giant Scarecrow, presumably, while the Bat is under the influence of Scarecrow’s hellish hallucinogenic fear toxin, which, as you might know via experience with Arkham Asylum, is capable of inducing frighteningly surreal visual and aural effects — or rather, some really awesome, fun, and spooky psychotropic scenarios.
Here’s a description of the Scarecrow Nightmare Missions DLC:
As Gotham City falls victim to Scarecrow’s fear toxin – transforming the famous city into a twisted, hellish nightmare – tear through the city in the all-new Batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army as they spread terror on the streets.
Indeed, good times with the Scarecrow are imminent. Additionally, the exclusive skins DLC are as follows: Justice League 3000 Batman skin, Classic TV Batman skin, and Classic TV skin for the big bad Batmobile.
Finally, perhaps the most important point regarding this DLC is that it seems to be a timed exclusive, in the sense that, “Bonus Content [will be] exclusive until at least Fall 2015,” which implies that the DLC may be available for the other available gaming platforms, such as Xbox One and PC.
Prepare your mind, body, soul, and wallet for the arrival of Arkham Knight on June 23rd — available on PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
