Scott Snyder Confirms Second Year Of ‘Batman Eternal’

Are you enjoying the currently ongoing weekly series Batman Eternal and wish that it will see life beyond its originally intended one year run? Well, you’re in luck. “Showrunner” Scott Snyder recently did a Q&A on Reddit and confirmed that a second year is coming.

“Yep! The story ends in March and then we’ll do a year 2 after a break (we have to get WAY ahead on a weekly series before it starts coming out).”

As for the other weeklies DC is currently publishing, both The New 52: Futures End and Earth 2: World’s End are scheduled to wrap the final week of March 2015. It’s likely those won’t continue beyond that point.
