‘Batman: Earth One, Vol. 2’ Release Date & Description

The fact that Batman: Earth One, Vol. 2 is coming in 2015 is no secret, nor is its cover art at this point. I recently learned its exact release date, but was unwilling to publicly divulge it until it was brought to my attention that Amazon is currently taking pre-orders. Since it’s now public knowledge, I found it incumbent to share with DKN readers: May 12, 2015. Keep in mind that this date likely applies to booksellers and comic shops will likely have it on their shelves six days beforehand (May 6).

I have enjoyed every Earth One book to date, Batman or otherwise and can’t wait for this volume. Other books in the line that you can look forward to on the horizon are Teen Titans: Earth One (November 2014) and Superman: Earth One, Vol. 3 (February 2015). Wonder Woman: Earth One doesn’t have a release date yet, but my best guess is that it will be available August 2015.

In this sequel to the #1 New York Times bestseller BATMAN: EARTH ONE by writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank, the Dark Knight must reconcile the increasingly conflicting ideologies of Jim Gordon and Alfred and also find The Riddler, who is terrorizing Gotham City with his own twisted brand of anarchy. Features surprising and bold new takes on your favorite villains from Batman’s rogues gallery.
