Current Batman artist Greg Capullo Tweeted something rather interesting today. It looks to be some artwork from his forthcoming arc “Endgame” with writer and collaborator Scott Snyder. We see an almost post-apocalyptic Batman with a gun, Harper Row/ Bluebird, and a character yet to be named. Capullo captioned the photo with “Don’t tell anybody that I showed you this. Shhh”.
The plot for “Endgame ” is still shrouded in secrecy. What we do know is that Snyder is putting a lot into it and aims for it to be yet another definitive arc. I think we’ll one day look back on this era and talk about how much guys like Snyder and Grant Morrison spoiled us. As of right now, the arc is set to run for six issues and kicks off in Batman # 35 this October.
