Last week, an official game trailer for the highly-anticipated Batman: Arkham Origins was released. Following this, a clever new teaser image has been revealed. This depicts Batman’s villains as a reflection of his darker side.
This poster is a sort of twist in the nature of certain Batman cover art such as “The Long Halloween” and Batman Forever, which illustrate the villains and other characters as part of the Caped Crusader’s complex persona.
Batman: Arkham Origins is currently being developed by new game development studio WB Montreal. It will feature an expanded Gotham City (from the previous game: Arkham City). The story line will be an original one that will focus on Batman’s early years and his development into becoming The Dark Knight we all know and love.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 25, 2013.
