For those who saw Anne as Selina Kyle this past weekend, can we just say wow! She was darn good! Nolan has previous stated that he would love to see her put on the cat ears again in her own solo movie and in a recent interview with Digital Spy, Anne says that she would love to, given the right circumstances of course.
“I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it’s with the right people. She lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least.” It definitely would be awesome to see her in a solo movie, like an origins sort of thing. Rises opens up so many possibilities for the Batman mythology in the future. She also talks about taking on the task, specifically not looking to other interpretations from the past, “I didn’t want to focus on the other people’s interpretation of it because I didn’t see where that would get me; it would only be a rehashing of something already done – and done very well,” she explained. “I thought it was probably best to focus on being a part of Chris Nolan’s Gotham City.” For this and more check out the video interview below.
