Things can only go up from here. This past weekend The Dark Knight Rises has gained even more steam. Unaided awareness numbers are up, first choice is up, definite interest up! Batman looks like its on the way to clamming that top spot The Avengers holds for biggest opening of all time. People who are tracking the numbers say that it is already set to outperform is predecessor which opened up to 158.4 million back in 2008, giving it the title of biggest opening for a 2D movie. Rest asure, there still is hope. It seems that the 3D advantage won’t do very much now, but we still have a IMAX boost. If you haven’t already, check out the IMAX t.v spot below.
