Villains month on the DC Comic titles is just around the corner. In this upcoming issue of “Batman: The Dark Knight# 23.1Ventriloquist” it will be featuring “Batgirl” writer Gail Simone’s Ventriloquist character, as well as having Gail Simone writing this issue instead of the currant writer Gregg Hurwitz. The issue will be diving into her origin story. Here is a small preview of what is to come.

After reading what little we see here I’m starting to like the idea of a new Ventriloquist. This is clearly nothing like the old school Ventriloquist (Arnold Wesker the first Ventriloquist ) I was used to reading when I was younger. The new Ventriloquist Shauna Belzer brings a creep factor that makes this revised character seem interesting.
