McFarlane Toys released images of a new wave of Batman variants from the 90’s and 2000’s storylines.
McFarlane Toys Showcases 90’s Batman
Of the new line-up of Batmen, we have the 90’s version of Batman from Grant Morrison’s JLA run. The figure seems vaguely based on Howard Porter’s depiction of Batman. We also have Injustice Gang Batman from the popular JLA storyline “Rock of Ages”. 90’s comic fans may recall Morrison’s epic “Rock of Ages” storyline where the Justice League and Injustice Gang battle ultimately leads to a dark future where Darkseid reigns. The Injustice Gang Batman is actually a hard-light construct from Dr. Light. In the storyline, Lex Luthor tasks Dr. Light to create evil versions of the Justice League in order to frame them for various crimes.

McFarlane Toys Represent 2000’s Batman
We then flash-forward to the 2000’s for two other notable versions of Batman. There is the Batman of Bethlehem- who is Damian Wayne in a different dystopian future also created by Morrison. Then there is also the White Lantern Batman from the Brightest Day comic series. There, Batman temporarily wears a the life-giving White Lantern ring.

All Batman figures are 7 inches tall and sport 22 points of articulation. They all come with a figure stand and collectible trading card. Also note, that regular Batman and Batman of Bethlehem feature cloth capes or trench coats. The regular Batman’s cape look especially silky and nice. However, the Injustice Gang Batman and White Lantern Batman feature hard, molded plastic capes.
Incidentally, both Injustice Gang Batman and White Lantern Batman also are a part of the Red Platinum series. This means that they are slightly rarer variants with a shorter shelf span than a typical figure.
McFarlane Toys did not release a specific date for the figures beyond sometime in 2026. However you can pre-order Batman of Bethlehem here. Pre-order 90’s Batman here. Pre-order Injustice Gang Batman here. And finally pre-order White Lantern Batman here.
