Review by James Attias
Titans #24 is filled with betrayal , sexual tension and distrust. And that’s just the good guys! Let’s Boom Tube in!
Terra Rising
Titans are no strangers to an evil lurking in the shadows waiting to strike. They’re also known to date within the team, very rarely to the benefit of anyone. This issue is a beautifully told story of how these younger heroes are still trying to do their best and prove themselves. Despite having saved the world a million times, despite having proved themselves a million times, and still to this day trying to discover who they are without the superhero mentors they have all broken free from to be their own heroes.
This task is near impossible at the best of times, but when you have a Crime Syndicate full of everyone who’s ever tried to kill you, as well as someone who was once your own team member. The Titans are in trouble.
Kisstake
I’m loving the art and the writing in this issue. With so much going on, it was wonderfully drawn and written that everything was clear, everything was beautiful and everything was so tense. I love reading it. Even in the pauses between the dialogue boxes the images told a thousand stories. Great great work.
Conclusion
Titans #24 is a really cool issue that builds to an already really cool story! I hope that they have a good ending planned, as this build up is giving me chills.
