Two-Face #6  is upon us, fellow readers, and with it an exquisite cover. Baldemar Rivas sets the stage from a gruesome separation of self. The stark white background is beautiful for the image of Two-Face emerging from Harvey’s head. Brilliant. Speaking of separation, since the last time Harvey has been more on his own than usual. Seeking a strange bit of company, let’s dive in!

An Internal Debate, Finalized

Batman and Harvey have a conversation about his progress towards the best version of Harvey  as Two-Face #6 opens. To his credit, Bruce admits to seeing the progress and the hard work Harvey has been doing. His White Church for example. But Bruce is also very honest with Harvey and tells him that his plan won’t work the way that Harvey envisions things to. Even with the new and disturbing silence, he is clinging fast to the hope of change.  With this hope in mind, court is now in session for Die and Doubt.

But The Shadow Hand are not ready to be sentenced, not by someone who can’t even accept the truth of themselves. And, if they cannot get to Harvey one way, there are others to try. Zsasz has entered the fray again, only too happy to assist if that means Lake will join his Legion. Will Harvey be in time? And is Lake really the target?

Through Order Comes Profit

The horrific concept of “The Box” is explored in Two-Face #6.  Again Die brings up the fact that Harvey Dent is her Father, just not this Harvey.  Christian Ward has written an astounding twisted moment and Fabio Veras, Ivan Plascencia, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou each use their talents to make that horror real for Harvey.

Another really cool element is Zsasz’s voices being “seen” separately from himself. It isn’t something I have seen before with this character. Genuinely, it really made the whole stalking/interaction with Lake that much more creepy. The way Hassan does their voices is very effective. Even Harvey Dent has fear in the face of Zsasz in this state. Two-Face #6 is highly enjoyable.

Conclusion

So much movement happens is Two-Face #6 and it happens very quickly. Harvey’s identity crisis has now become Gotham’s crisis. What that means will have to wait for the next issue but I know for one am excited! Til next time, read your favorite comic friends.
