Sideshow Collectibles have teamed up with Prime 1 Studio once more to give us this beast of a statue: Bane on Throne Deluxe Version.
Seated upon a throne of rusty metal, smashed electronics and a ruined Bat Signal, the ruler of the City of Bane watches his subjects. Glowing green Venom flows through the tubes connecting him to his canisters and pumps through his veins, turning them a sickly green under his skin. Standing at a grand 24 inches tall, Bane rules with an air of dominance as well as his frighteningly enhanced strength. With one spike-studded arm perched on a knee and one hand gripping the metal arm of his throne, it looks like he’s about to stand up and aggressively deal with the problem himself. In two of the four masks that come with the deluxe version, his mouth and eyes are revealed in a threatening expression.
From the wear and tear of his own gear, to the folds of his clothes to the rust corroding his throne, no detail has been overlooked in this stunning statue, largely due to their collaboration with DC artist Carlos D’Anda. Based on his designs in the Batman comics, this figure really brings the art to life.
