‘MultiVersus’ Releases New Trailer Featuring The Joker

The crossover fighting game MultiVersus has debuted its first look at the Joker as a playable character.

The clown Prince of Crime will join the roster of playable characters that already include Batman, the Iron Giant, Bugs Bunny, Shaggy, and many more.

What’s even better, Mark Hamill will be voicing the villain.

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill Reunite on ‘MultiVersus’

Given that Kevin Conroy has already recorded his dialogue for Batman in MultiVersus, fans will be treated to a BTAS/Arkham reunion. MultiVersus will be considered the last time that Hamill and Conroy will play the characters in video games. Of course, their voices were both considered the iconic voices of their characters since Batman: The Animated Series launched in 1992. Since then, their Batman and Joker vocals have been introduced to a new generation of fans in the Arkham video games.

While MultiVersus will be Conroy and Hamill’s last interactions as Batman and the Joker in a video game, they will have one more shared scene together. Both are now confirmed to appear for the last time in the animated film Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three, which is due out in July.

The gameplay trailer comes hot on the heels of the reveal trailer that announced the Joker as a playable character

Looking at the gameplay, the Joker also seems to be able to have personalized interactions with other characters, specifically Harley Quinn and Batman. According to the official press release, the Joker’s considered a Mage-class character. His move set includes a weaponized pogo stick, spring-loaded boxing gloves, a rocket launcher, and more. He will also have two alternate skins: “The Batman Who Laughs” and “The Dark Prince Charming”.

MultiVersus will be free-to-play and re-launches on May 28th.
