Sideshow Collectibles and Prime 1 Studio have teamed up once again to give us the stunning Murder Machine Statue, the latest addition to their Museum Masterline.
Like most Bruce Waynes in the DC Universe, The Bruce of Earth -44’s parents were killed before his very eyes when he was a child. However, it was Alfred Pennyworth’s brutal murder that truly made him spiral. Blaming himself for his father figure’s death, he asked Cyborg to help him create an AI, called the Alfred Protocol, to assist him as the butler once did.
Upon activation, the artificial intelligence spread like a virus, killing all the criminals in Arkham Asylum that it deemed a threat to Batman within a day. Wanting to fix the program, and make it less extreme and aggressive, Bruce loaded the AI onto the Batcave’s system and it quickly took control of him.
Numbing Batman’s emotions completely, the Murder Machine was born because everyone was deemed to be a threat to Bruce Wayne. Alongside all the other twisted, mutated Batmen from the Dark Multiverse, the Murder Machine came over to our universe to wreak havoc in the classic “Dark Nights Metal” series.
The Murder Machine
Standing at a grand 33 inches tall, Murder Machine wears a dark metal suit. Not a single detail has been overlooked in the sleek, futuristic design; from the wires, and the individual dark metal plates, to the light shining between the cut and damaged segments. Just the spinal column keeping him up and strong is jaw-dropping.
Wrapped around him, projections of the emotionless Alfred Protocol encourage the villain to kill his enemies. With LED lighting, his butler-turned-surrogate father glows around him as his palms and Bat Symbol light up dangerously.
Don’t miss out on adding the Murder Machine to your collection, and pre-order today at Sideshow Collectibles, it will draw attention no matter where he is placed, but he’ll look best beside other Metalverse Batmans.
