Sideshow Collectibles Release New ‘Superman vs Doomsday’ Statue

Sideshow Collectibles and Iron Studios have teamed up to give us this giant, new Superman vs Doomsday Statue. Based on the beloved The Death of Superman (1992-1993) comics, this bright diorama is the perfect things for and Superman fans.

The iconic The Daily Planet globe is crushed and twisted between Superman and Doomsday as their fight destroys Metropolis, even breaking the ground beneath them.

Doomsday is a half-Kryptonian experiment of grey skin and razor-sharp stone, created to destroy… the Man of Steel specifically. Trying to protect his home from the abomination, Superman wears his famous red and blue, with his cape flying behind him as he swings a powerful punch at the abomination. As fans know, this deadly fight ended in the most devastating way.

Created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, The Death of Superman made history in the comic book community. Killing off their strongest superhero, the first, will do that, though. Adapted into a book, video game, an animated film in 2007 and two new ones in 2018, as well as Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Smallville, and the movies Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, it is safe to say it influence is still affecting DC Comics to this day.

To celebrate ten years of Iron Studios, they’ve made us this stunning, exclusive Superman vs Doomsday Statue.

Don’t miss your chance at adding this amazing diorama to your own collection today, by pre-ordering from Sideshow Collectibles.
