Batman Day 2023 Will Feature Events All Over the World

Batman Day 2023 is right around the corner and this year will feature big international events.

Batman Day 2023 Comic Book Giveaways

Mark your calendars on September 16 for the Batman holiday. In America, comic book shops will be giving away free Batman reprints to fans: Batman #608 (“Hush” Part One) with an exclusive foil Jim Lee cover; Batman and Joker: Deadly Duo #1; and a preview of Batman/Catwoman: Gotham War: Battlelines.

Check the official solicitations below for more information here.

Beyond that comic shops will also release the Batman’89 collection with a new Bat-logo cover and have the official release of the next Black Label series Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Dark Knight, Showcase Cinemas theaters are re-releasing the entire Dark Knight Trilogy for the 16th only. You can get your tickets here.

International Celebrations

Overseas promises an action-packed Batman Day- no matter where you live on the globe. London will host the Batman Unmasked event from September 15-17. Unmasked is a pop-up museum where fans can see the real-life props from the movies. This includes the Bat-cycles from The Dark Knight and The Batman, the various Bat-suits, and Joker costumes.

Fans in France will be treated to a Batman Day at the Boom Boom Villette. They will host decorations, cosplay, artists, The Dark Knight Trilogy marathon, the Batmobile display, and Batman-themed escape rooms. The one at the Boom Boom Villette will have three Gotham-themed experiences: “The Joker: Joke’s on You”; “The Riddler: Your Final Test”; and “The Batcave: Secret Missions”. If you’re going to be in Paris, you can get more information about the escape rooms here.

While details are still forthcoming, there are events to be announced for Rome, Berlin, Mexico City, and Madrid. Get the latest updates about the international Batman Day 2023 events, check the official Batman Day page!
