As we all know, baby Kal-El was sent to Earth, where Martha and Johnathan Kent found his spaceship and named him Clark Kent. He grew up on a farm, happy, loved, and hiding his powers that were strengthened by the yellow sun. Superman of Earth -3, otherwise known as Ultraman, however, didn’t get that same love and nurture.
Also being found by John and Martha, this Clark Kent never bothered hiding his powers and was feared and ostracised for them. Exploited and emotionally manipulated, he eventually escaped Smallville and made himself known to the world by assassinating President John F. Kennedy. Designed to be Superman’s dark counterpart, he and Ultraman have fought many times since the villain’s creation in 1964.
