Swarovski Release Crystal Embellished Batman Figurines

Swarovski have released two limited edition crystal embellished Batman Figurines and the Dark Knight has never looked so sparkly.

Batman is depicted wearing his slate grey suit, black cloak ,mask and boots, and his trademark utility belt, standing on top of the Bat signal, which has also been bejewelled. The first figurine measures 22 x 11 x 10 cm and contains with 34,000 Swarovski crystals hand-set using the Pointiage technique in 152 hours, and is limited to 200 pieces worldwide.

Each figurine features an engraving on the round base and comes in a premium blue suitcase with a certificate of authenticity. This piece is available to order now from Swarovski online and in store and costs £8000/$10,250.00, there is also an embellished Batmobile to go with it, if you have another £7,300/$8,900.00 to spare.

The second figurine is larger than the first and is for very very serious collectors only as it is priced at £25,000/$29,500.00 !!!!  This unique masterpiece measures 55 x 23 x 30 cm and is embellished with more than 81,000 crystals, again using the Pointiage technique in 455 hours. The figurine also features a metal plaque on the bottom of the base, offering the possibility to personalise the piece with a special engraving.

This mega exclusive figurine is only crafted on demand and like the smaller figure it comes in a premium blue suitcase with a certificate of authenticity. The shipping procedure for this item includes insurance and a delivery notice. This figurine is currently unavailable online but may be available to order in store. These are decoration items and not toys (obviously) and they are not recommended for children under the age of 15.

Both of these figures are beautifully detailed and exquisitely crafted but extremely expensive, especially the larger one. These would be amazing additions to any Batman/DC Comics fans collection, and I would love to own either of them, but unless I win the lottery I don’t think that will never happen.

There are also other Batman ornaments available from Swarovski for a much lower price which are very nice, but in my personal opinion not as nice or as detailed as these two. I think the closest I’ll ever get to owning something like this would be if I bought an action figure and embellished it with crystals myself.
