Raf Grassetti is Back With More Batman: The Animated Series Art

Article by John Hammond

You may remember a couple of weeks ago we brought you an article about Raf Grassetti and his re-imagined rogues gallery artwork. Well, Raf is back with more Batman: The Animated Series inspired art.

The God of War video game artist has been re-imagining the rogues gallery from Batman: TAS. You will remember from the previous article that he’s already brought us The Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc, Penguin and The Phantasm. Now, in addition to those, he’s added Catwoman, Mr Freeze plus the Ventriloquist & Scarface.

Clearly, Grassetti loves his villains and the detail that he’s putting in to these pieces is quite incredible. It was said to me by Steve J Ray that you can almost feel the material on the Catwoman piece. You know what? He’s absolutely spot on.

I’m still anxiously waiting for Mr Grassetti to give us some of the heroes from the Batman: TAS universe. Based on what we have seen so far, I can on assume that they will be no more than exceptional.

Fans of Batman: The Animated Series really need to check these out. Go and give Raf Grassetti a follow on Twitter or Instagram, you will NOT be disappointed. His art is there fore all to see, whether it be Batman, Marvel, video games etc… it’s all a true feast for the eyes.

Once you’ve had a look, please, please let us know your thoughts on these wonderful pieces of art.
