Raf Grassetti Re-Imagines ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ Characters

Article by John Hammond

Raf Grassetti has been showing off some new art recently as he has re-imagined Batman: The Animated Series characters. Grassetti, who works as art director for the God of War video game series, has been showing off his new creations on his Instagram account.  So far, Grassetti has shown us his versions of The Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc, Penguin and The Phantasm.

As you will note, Grassetti has only shown us the bad guys, I therefore hope that it won’t be long before we see him re-imagine the heroes of the show. Each time he posts, he does so with a little note. Reading his notes, it’s clear for all to see that more and more are coming. This is great news, particularly for a fan of Batman: The Animated Series. As I know there are many Batman: TAS fans out there, I have no doubt that these will be of great interest.

Now you’ve checked out the gallery of pictures, I have no doubt that you will all agree that these are quite incredible. The attention to detail is spot on and there’s no mistaking that these are characters from that wonderful animated show. I would also highly recommend following Raf Grassetti on Instagram to be sure you don’t miss any of his wonderful artwork.

Please let us know your thoughts.
