Don’t Expect A Green Arrow/Batman Team-Up Anytime Soon

Arrow EP says no immediate plans for Batman and Wonder Woman appearing on the CW

CW TV series The Flash helped introduce us to the existence of multiple Earths, or the Multiverse if you will. Over time we have received nuggets of information confirming that other heroes dwell on the Earth that is home to the characters of Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. We’ve even seen Superman on Supergirl (who resides on a different Earth than the previously mentioned shows).

Oliver Queen has a friend in Gotham City

Stephen Amell, star of Arrow, mentioned that he talked to the showrunners about name dropping another costumed vigilante on his show recently. Or at least his alter ego.

Arrow EP Marc Guggenheim says don’t expect Batman or Wonder Woman to stop by the Arrowcave anytime soon.

“You know, we name dropped Hal Jordan at the beginning of Season 3, but it’s really just fun for us. I think in the Arrowverse we have our own Justice League and the Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman … these are all characters that are either spoken for on the movie side and/or other shows. There’s a Bruce Wayne on Gotham.”

And with talk of a possible Joss Whedon helmed Batgirl movie, don’t expect a Girl of Steel/Dominoed Daredoll team up either. Arrow returns with new episodes on Thursday, January 18 at 8 pm ET on The CW.
