DC Entertainment Announces “Justice League Day”

It’s hard to believe that we are now less than two weeks away from DC’s greatest heroes coming together for the first time in a live-action film. To celebrate this momentous occasion, DC Entertainment has announced that Saturday, November 18th will be known as “Justice League Day,” during the opening weekend of the highly anticipated movie.

Comic Book shops, bookstores, libraries, and Six Flags Theme Parks across the globe will be offering special exclusives, fan giveaways and digital sales. Fans will also be able to get a special, free Justice League #1 New 52 reprints that features a new cover by Ivan Reis. The comic will also be available for free through digital book retailers.

For fans seeing Justice League at participating IMAX and AMC Theaters during opening weekend, you will be able to receive a Justice League AMC IMAX Special Edition comic book, while supplies last. This comic is a reprint of Justice League #15 by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis. Fans purchasing tickets at a Cinemark or Regal IMAX will also get a digital code for the comic.

Books-A-Million locations will have Justice League titles on sale from November 14th – 27th with a buy one, get one 50% off offer. Digital readers can use the “Join the League” sale from November 7th – 20th, which features over 160 e-books and periodical issues, including New 52 and Rebirth collections for Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and The Flash.

There will also be a “Justice League: All In” sale from November 14th – 20th with over 100 discounted Justice League led e-books, available via readdcentertainment.com, Amazon Kindle, comiXology, Google Play, iBooks, Nook, and Madefire.

DC All Access and DC Fans YouTube Channel will be hosting special programming for “Justice League Day.” The DC All Access app will also detail festivities, participating locations, and in-depth coverage.
