‘Gotham’ Responds to ‘Arrow’ on Twitter

It was only yesterday that we reported on the big name drop on Arrow and Fox’s Gotham has responded:

‘GOTHAM’/’ARROW’ CROSSOVER?

While a crossover is unlikely—the shows, despite both owned by Warner Bros. and DC, are on competing networks—it’s fun to ponder the possibilities. We’ve seen cross network promotion before, just as recently as two years ago when The Flash went to CBS to appear on the first season of Supergirl. Yes, Greg Berlanti produced both shows and CBS jointly owns The CW with Warner Bros, so while there were hurdles, they were easily overcome. It’s doubtful that we’ll get this crossover that we’re all dreaming of right now. Twitter nods like the one above is the most we’ll likely see out of the shows teaming up.

Arrow airs Thursday nights at 9/8c on The CW. Gotham airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox.
