After a brief hiatus for the holidays, the wonderful CW superhero programming block consisting of The Flash and Arrow will be returning to the airwaves, bringing alongside them a new spinoff Justice League-y show called Legends of Tomorrow. That’s not all, however. In case you missed, CW is also planning to air a feature entitled Dawn of the Justice League. That special will follow yet another feature on Legends of Tomorrow, whose pilot will air on Thursday, January 21st.
Accordingly, on the WB-owned television network, the special will focus on expanding upon the upcoming DC Extended Universe (DC’s interconnected movie universe), almost kicking it off. They will also premiere the new Suicide Squad trailer.

DC comic book fans can rejoice. It’s happening. A cinematic Justice League movie is on the horizon. It’s still difficult to believe, but there it is.
The special will air on Tuesday on January 19th at 9:30/8:30c, on the CW.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit the big screen on March 25th.
Suicide Squad is hitting theatres August 5th.
