Melinda Clarke Set to Join ‘Gotham’ in Recurring Role

E! Online reports that Melinda Clarke is set to join FOX’s Gotham in a recurring role. It would form a bit of an OC reunion with series star Ben McKenzie. Clarke is also well known for her roles in other geek-centric fare like Spawn, Firefly and Nikita. As a horror fan, I’ll always remember her best for her underrated performance in Return of the Living Dead 3. Fellow horror veterans Julian Sands and Jeffrey Combs have also made appearances on the show.

Clarke is set to play Grace, an original character, who – like most characters on the show – is eccentric and willing to lie and kill in order to get what she wants.

She is set to make her first appearance in the 15th episode of season two, set to air this spring.

Gotham is currently on a midseason break and will resume in February.
