‘Gotham’ has their “Definitely Not The Bat-Cave”

Long has it been established that a young Bruce Wayne stumbles upon some kind of hidden cave-like space underneath his home, which he later uses it to house all those wonderful toys he has when he dons the cowl to become the Batman.  So to our shock last May, Bruce finds a hidden door that leads to a hidden cave-like area under the house in the Gotham season finale.  However, the actor playing the young Bruce Wayne, David Mazouz says that the cave is the hidden lair of Thomas Wayne. It’s not the Bat-cave, but rather the hidden part of Thomas Wayne’s life.

It will allegedly change everything in Bruce’s life, from how he sees his trusted butler, Alfred, to the criminals of Gotham, to even how he views his parents. So what does the secret lair of Thomas Wayne have tucked away? Will Bruce convert it into his own little hideaway? We won’t know for a while, but Gotham season 2 premieres September 21st, on Fox so maybe we’ll get some answers then.
