Those awaiting the ambitious new series We Are… Robin should be made aware that the series is receiving a new artist. Jorge Corona has been added to the artistic team also featuring Rob Haynes and Khary Randolph. Lee Bermejo (Joker, Batman: Noel) will pen the series and provide cover art.
DC describes the series as follows:
Spinning out of the pages of BATMAN! The teenagers of Gotham City have adopted the “R” and made it their own. A new Robin? No, HUNDREDS of new Robins! And they finally meet Batman himself…but is it everything they imagined it would be? And what will the Dark Knight think of them?
Hopefully this series also shows Duke Thomas continue his path to becoming Robin. A sneak peek will be released on May 27, with the first issue hitting stands June 24. You can check out Lee Bermejo’s covers for the first three issues below.
